Acceptable Use Policy

Revenue Guard protects authorized Shopify stores; it is not a penetration-testing or general scanning platform.

You must

  • Install Revenue Guard only on stores you own, manage or are authorized to protect
  • Keep alert recipients and optional Slack destinations under your control
  • Use storefront-password access only for your own development store
  • Respect applicable laws and Shopify policies

You must not

  • Probe unrelated stores, private networks, metadata services or internal systems
  • Bypass CAPTCHA, authentication or anti-bot controls
  • Collect shopper passwords, payment information or unnecessary personal data
  • Use automated tests to overload or disrupt third parties
  • Attempt to evade plan, monitoring or infrastructure safety limits

Enforcement

Revenue Guard may rate limit, pause monitoring or disable abusive installations to protect merchants and platform reliability. Critical administrative actions are logged.

Reporting

Report suspected abuse through the contact page with the affected store domain and relevant details. Do not include credentials or shopper data.
