Privacy Policy
Revenue Guard collects only the store and operational data needed to detect revenue-threatening problems, deliver alerts and operate securely.
Data we process
- Shopify store identity, primary domain, currency and timezone
- Encrypted Shopify offline access and refresh tokens
- Aggregated order counts and revenue totals used for anomaly detection
- Browser-test results, incident history, operational logs and screenshots
- Alert recipients, encrypted optional Slack webhooks and Shopify subscription status
Data we avoid
- Shopper passwords or payment-card details
- Checkout payment information
- Order line-item or customer profiles when aggregate counts are sufficient
- Completing test purchases
- Unnecessary advertising-account credentials
Purpose and sharing
Data is used to run safe buyer-journey checks, identify anomalies, confirm incidents, deliver alerts and reports, enforce plans, prevent abuse and provide support. Shopify, browser execution, storage and email providers process only what is needed to deliver those functions.
Retention and uninstall
Screenshot evidence is retained for 30 days, test history for 90 days, and operational records for up to 180 days. Shopify uninstall revokes active monitoring and clears stored access tokens. Mandatory Shopify privacy webhooks are supported for data access and deletion requests.
Security
Tokens and optional integration secrets are encrypted before storage. Every protected endpoint validates the Shopify session and resolves a single store tenant. Webhook signatures are verified against the raw request body.
Your choices
Merchants can update alert recipients, disconnect optional integrations and uninstall Revenue Guard from Shopify Admin. Privacy requests can be submitted through the contact page or Shopify's required privacy-request process.
